PostSubject: Re: Café Süsse Festlichkeit    Café Süsse Festlichkeit EmptyThu Dec 02, 2010 1:23 pm

Several men in business attire stepped into the quaint building. Three of them may as well have been brothers; their identical suits and haircuts slowly graying from age, their matching shoes shining in understated brilliance, and their greedy eyes widening in pleasure at the sight of the women in their skimpy little maid outfits. Too easy. They'll come around by the time their drinks get to the table. This was the thought of the fourth, who stood in stark contrast to the others.

His long hair was pulled back in a low ponytail. His suit was tailored to fit his slender, youthful frame. His lips were hidden beneath a few layers of black lipstick, and his eyes were anything but normal. Those violet gems glanced from the 'gentlemen' he was accompanying to the waitresses the older men were so close to drooling over. This was far too easy. But it wasn't part of his job description to be here. No, his being here was the CEO's doing. Why send an analyst to persuade clients to invest in the company? Really, it didn't make any sense.

Unless one were to know that this particular analyst had a way of getting under others' skins. A way of gaining their trust without lifting a finger. A slim hand rose to cover black lips as he yawned in boredom. His thumb gently brushed over his bottom lip, mind wandering to the secret hidden by the gothic exterior. TRUSTED. Oh, how that one word could grant the man such power. Well, that wasn't his only secret, of course. But it was the only one that counted at the moment. He paused to listen for his own ring, trying to keep it silent for the time being. Now was not the time to tap in to that side of himself.

"Gentlemen, perhaps we should ring for someone to take us to a table now, so we may better discuss our business?" His voice was soft, smooth and delicate. If one were to listen to it without seeing its origin, one might think it was the voice of a young woman. Well...then at least, they would be half right. A slow smile spread over his lips as he turned to the clients, noting their reluctant shift of focus from the scantily clad women to the 'man' who had spoken.

In all truth, Shivani did not own a car, nor did she actually enjoy driving herself anywhere ‘borrowing’ a vehicle. She had only learned to drive as was instructed or order in a sense by Slven, it was better that way if and whenever Malik got himself to drunk to remember were his keys were. It was also, in the past, so she could keep a very good eye on Ritsu after he became the puppet instead of the puppeteer. Yuri’s reminder to the man his life was basically held on by the string on her own thread. SO, when she was not working as bodyguard, Shivani walked, to about everywhere. Only taking the bus when it was to get to Seven Moons, for the school building was rather out of the way. If she had to return to the main house, someone always had to come and get her.

The click of her heels echoed a bit on the concrete as she walked down the back alley of Café Süsse Festlichkeit. Patrons only had the privilege of walking in through the front, staff, and those who leaved above the shop had to come from the side. Odd enough, one had to walk through the back staff area to get to the stairs that would lead up to the next floor. Could be called for good security, none residence couldn’t come in there were separate doors to the staff areas that were kept locked so residence couldn’t get into the shop after hours. Not the Shivani cared, she had worked her once upon a time, what would be a life time ago. So it didn’t matter much to her. Grey bluish eyes looked up at the stair case uninterested as she went through the motions of living. Just a doll doing its daily instructions, get ready for the night actions and dance with Zealos.

It should be ‘fun’ like the other said, perhaps if she had a sense of her own mind it would be.

But it seemed they all forgot.

A Doll is everything and yet nothing without instructions.

Another click of her heels echoed in her ears as she closed the door behind her taking another step to the stair case or would have as something came back on her the instant the door shut.

The same echo resignation with in her mind of a suppressed ring.

A unit was here in the shop.

One she knew.

“Look over the unit’s in a packets, I divided the work load up.” The blonde stated annoyed as his amethyst eyes glared at the male fighter sitting next to him. The words were spoken to those in the room, herself, another female fighter, a male of teal hair she had been caught in a battle with no more the several moments ago, the young sacrifice with his split darker personality present, and the blonde’s fighter. ‘Work load’ was nothing more than folders on the table that would be listed units or individuals the ‘bloodhound’ was being sent after.

Never meant Malik Tanaki did his own dirty work.

“Shivani.” His voice pulled the shell of a woman’s eyes up off her legs to look emptily in his direction as he opened on folder and pushed it across to her. “Sie sind nur, diesem Individuum zuzuschauen, verstanden für die Zeit zu werden?”

“Während Sie wünschen.” The automatic responds to an order that the sacrifice in question preferred as the reply.

The echo came back again just as Shivani turn instantly on her heels as if possessed by something, no longer heading up stairs to her ‘apartment’ but rather into the staff changing room. No one was there, not that it mattered if someone had found her in here. After all, she did work here once upon a time. One hand fell over lockers as she walked down quickly the line of them, the other was pushing undoing her tie, the jacket and her shirt all in a fluent motion. A clock ticking in her head as she moved.

Open"

The spell left her lips as she came to one locker, her hand leaving them to help the other, strip herself out of the bloodhound uniform. The locker popped open at her command revealing the maid uniform worn by the waitresses. Seconds ticking, Shivani was down and out of one uniform, forcing her body in the smaller other. This was not hers, one girl that was probably off for the day, not that it mattered much. Black stockings changed for white ones to be clipped up by the black garter belt that would not have belonged but there was not time to search the lockers for one. Shivani zipped up the uniform, probably two sizes to small, but sense she could not feel the pressure of it against her skin the doll didn’t care, after all it would be over looked since the girls who worked her tended to wear uniforms smaller for better tips.. Makeup put on quickly, perfectly as she untied the tight bun to let her shoulder length hair fall down to her exposed shoulders.

Tick Tock.

The echo was louder as she turned on the hells of the shoes that would probably make her feet bleed later. No matter, the doll had no care for such things. She shut the locker as she disappeared out of the changing room on to the main floor. Steel grayish blue eyes focused on the four business men that had come up to the hostess stand.

"Gentlemen, perhaps we should ring for someone to take us to a table now, so we may better discuss our business?"

The voice of the young individual rang in her ears, almost as the sound resignation within her body that she wasn’t allowing to escape yet. As long as she did not sound back the unit in question would not see her as anything more then a ‘normal person’. Shivani slide passed someone at the server counter, stealing their server book and key carded, tucking it into her own apron as she walked up the hostess stand, a genuine sweet smile crossing over her lips as their eyes settled on her. Hands clasped in front of her as she walked, the too short skirt exposing the tops of the legs a little bit more with each step. Byt the time the last set of eyes settled on her the sickly sweet happy tone that all the girls used here had taken over her face, the body language as she bowed to them.

Gentlemen, It will be my pleasure to see to you this afternoon. Table for four?” Along with her normal monotone voice, itheld that same pleasurable sound as her body showed off to the four.

The older men were lost, eyes eating up the woman the way Karasu would soon be eating some sort of sweet treat. Brilliant. Their waitress was wearing a too-tight dress that made her chest look about ten times bigger than it really was, and her skirt showed off almost her entire lower body. Perfect. And he truly meant it. This waitress would make his job a little easier. Already, he could sense the men's defenses dropping out of sheer lust for the girl.

Of course, it would all go to Hell if they didn't keep their hands to themselves. He saw a flash of blood on his hands, his left suddenly cramping. Right, no thinking of things that made him angry. He'd barely gotten away with murder once, no need to get so protective of a complete stranger. Oh, well. Theoretically, these 'gentlemen' were old enough to know better than to get grabby with a girl, even if she was wearing barely anything.

Finally, he looked the girl in the eye. He'd had to delay it, pretend to actually be interested in her exposed flesh. It was an act he'd used countless times before. But he had to break form, since his clients seemed to have been struck speechless by the girl's cleavage. Or was it her legs? "Correct. If you could arrange a table in the corner, we would greatly appreciate the added..." He swept another long glance over the body he honestly didn't care about, feigning the lust that silenced the others. "privacy. You understand."

From the reactions, most were dumb struck at her appearance. Three out of the four at least, not that she cared at all for any of these game. She wasn’t playing hostess at some night club. This was a café, a place of normal business, not of that business. None the less, her eyes were more on the last individual, the only one to actually meet her eyes.

The target.

The ring.

The smile deepened on her face as ‘he’ spoke to her, and she bowed to the gentle men again in the fashion fitting for what they were looking for. Head up slightly so not to block the few of her chest, as she stood back up the flawless motion of taking four menu’s from the stand as she turned her other hand to the tables.

Of course, Meister ” She purred in a just a feign flirty tone to match the feed looks of lust, the German accent more evident in her voice now then a moment ago, before she turned on the heels of the shoes was worn, walking in front of the four. Hips swaying in the back and forth motion to make the skirt move in just the right direction to distract from what she was doing. Hard grey blue eyes now looking about the room even though the pleasant look did not drop from her face as she took the four back farther to table setting just short of a window, more against a wall; but it was away from all the rest of the guests. Actually, there was no one within ten feet of this table. The happy tone returned to her eyes as she turned around to face the four again. “ Will this do, Meister?

"Yes, thank you." He had to place a gentle hand on the forearms of each of his clients to wake them up so they would sit before he moved to the seat in the corner, where he could see the entire room. Unable to help himself, he spoke in English, already certain the Japanese businessmen didn't know the language--he had already looked into them before meeting them here--but hoping the girl would. "I can understand the dress, but those shoes are going to seriously injure your feet. You should try a size larger."

Sitting back in his chair, he glanced at the menus still in her hand, then back at the others. Sure enough, it seemed as though they hadn't even noticed him speak. Some men...are just so damn stupid. He sighed and shook his head, the mask slipping from his features. They wouldn't notice the annoyed glare he shot them. Not until she was gone. But, by that point, the mask would be back in place. He glanced up at the girl, reverting back to the local tongue. "I think it will take us a few minutes to decide what we wish to drink, miss."

Her pleasant smile did not fall from her face, not act drop as she watched the four take their sets at the table against the wall. She did however; notice the facial expression change of the fourth, though he spoke to her in the language she knew was English, the fighter did not have any clue what he was telling her. Something of an observation perhaps, she could hear the tone of sympathy in thw rods he spoke as he walked past her to the last chair.

Her smile just deepened, to clue in the other, she had no idea what he had spoke to her about.

None the less she put the menus down in front of each one, making sure the movements were flawless to keep eyes of three on her sense, she could feel that would be the use of a server for the fourth. “ Of course, Miester. I will return shortly.” was her responds as she bowed yet again to them and walked away, sure the three of four sets of eyes were on her back as she disappeared into the kitchen area.

The moment she was out of sight, Shivani turned on her heels, dashed out through the beverage station back into the staff changing room to the half open locker. She opened it up again, to pull up her bloodhound jacket, fiddling though the inside pocket to pull out a small circular container of spiders. She turned them in her hand, even though they were the reminisces of her last set of traps there was enough life in them eyes to be useful now. Tucking it into her apron she shut the door again, leaving the locker room the same way she came in, heading back now to the table of her ‘clients’, enough time had passed to justified returning to the table now. As she reentered the dining room, that overly sweet presences returned to her body, and face as she walked towards the table of four business mean.

As soon as the waitress was out of sight, the men seemed to snap out of her spell and turned to glance approvingly at the now appropriately friendly analyst. "You certainly know how to arrange a business meeting, Kobayashi-san. Much better than I'd expected." Karasu only laughed. "Perhaps you should decide what you want to have before she comes back and shatters your concentration, Tomaki-san." The four of them laughed and started discussing their orders.

Slowly, the Trusted sacrifice released the hold he had on his ring. Honestly, they were almost to the point where it would be entirely unnecessary for him to manipulate them, but he wanted to get out of here. Yes, he loved sweets, and he already knew exactly what he would order--what they all would order--but he seriously hated these meetings. All he needed to do was get their defenses down and get them to sign the contracts. Then, he'd leave and let them ogle the ladies without his supervision.

Just as the others decided on exactly what he'd expected them to decide on, the girl returned. He almost laughed as the supposedly-intelligent men again had their voices stolen from them. "Just in time, miss. We'll order our food while we're at it."' He pointed at each of his clients in turn, telling her their orders. "Decaf dark roast and a raspberry cheesecake. Cinnamon coffee with a cream cheese Danish. Light roast with strawberry cheescake. And I'll have a hazelnut coffee with a chocolate croissant. Thank you."

Though she was good at the act, sometimes Shivani thought all she had to do was put on skimpy outfits without a facial expression and most men would be left in their speechless imposition like the three at this table. No the less, she played her role all the while keeping an eye on the four, the only one she was really interested in. Though as she took to standing by the table she could feel it.

The ring was louder.

And harder to control the return echo.

Not yet.

The trap hadn’t been made yet.

Those sound splendid, Miesters. I will return with them promptly” Sweet flirty bat of her eyes as she bowed to the four of them again, Shivani turned to walk away again knowing full well three sets of eyes were to her back as she went to the server station.

When the girl left, he took the opportunity to bring the topic to the business at hand. He carefully guided them through the script he'd been handed before this meeting. A script he'd meticulously rewritten in light of what he'd found in his research. When he was certain the men were completely lulled by both their lust-filled mindset and his ring, he began to deviate from the script. Tomaki wouldn't wonder why this person he'd just met knew about his thirteen-year-old daughter's dance recital that was coming up. Nor would Watanabe be embarrassed by him bringing up his lover--the male one.

They trusted him. Surely, they'd told him all about these things already, right? It was pathetic, really. How gullible did people have to be to believe that they could trust a complete stranger? So sad. But it got the job done. Soon, he was handing over the contract as they asked where to sign. If all went according to plan, he could ask for his order in to-go containers and leave them alone to slowly come back to reality. And when they did...well, he was fairly certain Watanabe would be the one who was most embarrassed by the things the goth had known.

The ring resignation within was growing strength at each passing moment. The ‘male’ was using the tone, the sweet relaxing, trusting ring it seemed to make the other three relaxed and at ease in ignorance bliss at what was being tossed about the table. The server station she was using to make the coffees as the food orders were ‘placed’ was still in her ear short. But she could hear it all as she worked on the drink order. Foolish to be doing something like this in such on open place; it was the thought that should cross in her mind, but Dolls did not have individual thoughts that were meaningful.
All the instructions in her body told her to do?

Listen, watch, calculate, and create the deal lay trap that would be used later to retrieve this individual until it it was decreed so.

But Yuri had not said that.

Her instructions for now where just.

‘To watch’.

The pleasant sickly sweet smile crossed over her face again as she walked over to the take with the coffee orders as the ‘contract’ in questions was being set before the other three men by the fourth. Contents? Most likely not something these men would be so freely willingly, but then again, ‘normal people were so easily sucked into the lies of units.

Miesters? I have returned with you drinks!” she announced herself happily, in a giggly flirt sense breaking all three men’s attentions of the papers in front of them, bringing their lustily eyes back on her. Smile, winks as she set down each individual drink around the table saying certain short quiet tings to each men only within their own ear short as she student to the right behind each on setting down their drinks.

That was until she stood behind the last, as she tucked the tray under the arm of the hand that would come to rest on the back on his chair while Shivani leaned down more closely to this young ‘man’ verses the other. Fingers catching on the back of his chair some locks of hiar as she set his drink down in front of him. All smiles.

All lies…

As she sounded back his rings, canceling out the effect it was having on the other three.

Steal grayish blue eyes meeting his as she ringed back the Trusted tone While standing up. Pulling her hand back off the chair disturbing the locks enough to pulled unnoticeably loose strains between her fingers. All smiles and bows to the other three, ever startled business men as she sweet, innocently announced she would return with their sweets.

Turned..

And walked away.

Killing the ring echo as short as she had made it.

I opened the door, holding it open for the pretty girl with me, Dié. Did she know about the strange marking? Or was she as clueless as I? I looked into the little café. It was nice, rather cute theme. I looked at one of the waitresses as she passed by, though the place looks like its geared to guys. I shrugged a shoulder eyeing Dié again. I could smell coffee brewing, and a hint of chocolate. I liked the place already. It wasn’t loud inside, maybe I would return later. Bring my sketch pad, or my laptop. It’d be nice. Perfect atmosphere for creativity…Well in my book it was. I smiled as I looked around again. I enjoyed the feel of my ponytail resting against my back. Should I cut it? Whoa off topic there back to the present! I liked this little café very much already.

"Ill pay..."

She followed the strange girl into the cafe, and felt herself relax minutely. Dié studied the girl's profile while she looked around. Strong lines, nice eyes, but her hair! It was shocking to see white hair on someone so near her own age. She signaled a waitress the seemed idle for her to join them at a table. "Ridiculous, you're my guest. I'll pay, but if you feel strongly about it, you can pay for what you order," her voice was mellow and breathy. She spoke English with an accent, but not enough of one to be hard to understand. The girl wiggled her ears and smiled shyly at the foreigner. It seemed they both had the same strange marking, but maybe this girl knew something about it. "I think I'll have the Spicy Chocolate Tea and a Black Forest Torte, please." She turned to her companion, indicating the menu, "What will you have?"

While the girl was busy, Dié searched for the reason why she seemed so familiar. The feelings from the train hadn't dimmed during the walk at all, nor while she studied her companion. It was odd how relaxed she felt, yet so energized and almost like she was complete for the first time in eight years. It was quite the contradiction, and she planned to learn more about this girl before her. She petted her tail ask she spoke, "I don't think we ever got around to proper introductions. My name is Satou Dié, but I prefer being called Cho-chan. What is your name?"

She has a pretty voice.

"Merton Dice..."

I looked over the menu I ordered a Chocolate Raspberry coffee, and a peach twist. I nodded and smiled lightly to the waitress. I wonder how long she has had that marking? I crossed my ankles, resting my hands in my lap as I thought of where to start. I faced Dié.

"How long have you had this...'marking'?"

My voice came out cold, not hard, it was soft. I mentally cringed fought the urge to shift around in my seat. It felt like electric energy was coursing through my veins, not in a bad way if felt good..Energizing. Certainly I would know who this is if I ever met her...Right? Or was I reading? A picture maybe? No....Id really remember then... I noticed her scrutiny as I ordered. Maybe she knows me, or recognizes me?

Dié petted her tail while she thought. She has a very memorable name, I like it. She wrinkled her nose at the sounds of coffee being ordered, but quickly covered the action, hopefully before the girl noticed. "You certainly get straight to the point," her voice held a hint of laughter. "About a week. You?"

There was definitely something about this girl that some part of her recognized. Deciding to respect Dice's directness with her own, she spoke, "Do you know anything at all about these things?" She indicated the two ankles with words. "You'd think we were a matched pair or something with how closely they resemble each other." She thanked the waitress when the drinks and treats were brought out. Her attention was partly on the items on the table, but mostly still on the girl and the odd rush she was experiencing.

I smirked at her choice of words. I wouldn't waster her time, nor mine... Truthfully I didn't feel it was a waste.

I raised an eyebrow at her. One week exactly the same as mine.

"Mine has been the same a week. I noticed it while getting ready to leave the house one day."

Was it really a week. Felt like months now that I thought about it. Packing things away, selling off junk and old things I didn't need anymore. I looked at the table as our orders were brought, I took a sip of my coffee. Breath whooshed out of me, if I hadn't swallowed my coffee it would be all over the table.

"You mean you do not know either?"

An uncharacteristic panic swept over me, my voice was a little louder than I wanted.

"Sorry. I was well..." Well what? Hoping the answer would be obvious, that she would know everything?

The same time, eh? That's just weird. She stroked her tail thoughtfully. There was little they knew, it seemed. She shook her head slowly, the black strands wavering in the breeze she created. "I understand how you feel. I guess we'll never know about it. That's fine with me for now. I'd like to get to know you better, Dice-san," the panic fell flat as she scooped up some of the torte and ate it. There was no reason to get that upset about the loss of such a small opportunity. But that hope allowed me to meet such an interesting person.

Her eyes twitched up to the girl's face, and looked her directly in her eyes. I feel like I know you from somewhere. Have we ever met before?' She smiled softly, her relaxation was fleeing, but the bubbling energy was still there. It was certainly tied to this stranger somehow.

My fingers itched as I watched her shake her head, what a pretty picture in pastels that would have made, black and white predominantly with a blue tint and darker blue for the eyes. Yes Monochromatic would fit well for such a picture. I looked at her as she spoke, pulling away from my thoughts.

"This mystery will drive me insane until I figure it out, though I'm flattered by your interest in me."

Following Dié's example I took a bite of my sweet, followed by a sip of coffee. I shifted in my seat relaxing a bit more but still holding the 'proper' form. I noticed as I shifted if I moved just a bit towards Dié I would feel more energy. I looked oddly at my cup of coffee. Maybe that was a bad idea? I focused my eyes on Dié, "Met before?" filtered into my ears.

"I don't know but I do feel like Ive met you before. Have you ever traveled? this is my first day in Japan..."

What is so familiar about her? Does she look like someone I may have seen on T.V? The internet? I finished my sweet, and downed the last of my coffee. No more sugar or coffee today your getting weird...

Dié watched the girl take a bite of dessert. She knew from experience that the food was excellent, and it appeared Dice thought so too. "Well do you know anyone who can solve this mystery? I sure don't!" Her voice betrayed her frustration at being presented a puzzle with pieces missing. She bit her lip, then calmly sipped her quickly cooling tea. No point in getting too worked up. She closed her eyes for a moment, and when she opened them, they were nearly black from the riot of emotions inside.

The stranger shifted, and there was an increase in the rush of energy pouring into her. She thought she was going to go mad if she didn't dance or sing soon! She took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, "I've never been outside of Japan. Maybe it's just one of those things where a person looks familiar because you've seen a similar face in the crowd before? Oh! do you have a phone?' She picked at her treat and swallowed the last of her tea. She didn't need a sugar rush on top of what was already going on!

I closed my eyes for a moment as I spoke.

"Your words betray your actions..."

She is just as bothered as I am over not knowing, she's just trying to cover it up. I opened my eyes and looking into hers.

"No I do not know anyone who can help, so far your the only one in the country that I know."

My fingers continued to twitch and move nervously move. Great a sugar rush.... I sighed and moved again. Calm down relax. Breathe in breathe out...In....Out.....Sloooow out... A giggle escaped me. I couldn't keep myself from thinking of the over used and stupid dumb blond joke. I tried to stifle them still it didn't stop, I slapped a hand over my mouth trying to hold it in. The volume lowered and eventually I was just left shaking.

As my breathing returned to normal I looked back at Dié, my phone? Oh right. I pulled my Droid from a side pocket in my skirt.

"Yeah I got one."

She sighed, "I'm sorry, it's just frustrating. Tears pressed against her eyes, but she refused to allow them to well. She dug out her phone with a shrug. "Well let me have your number. And if you need a place while you're looki-" Dié cut herself off and blushed darkly at what her words implied. "N-n-not that I offer a bed to just any one of any thing," her translucent skin glowed red as she strove desperately to look defiant. She leaned in to speak, but then Dice started giggling. She programmed her number into the girl's phone, and made sure she had done the same with her phone and Dice's number. Dié handed the phone back to the girl. Another flood of energy had her closing her eyes and praying silently.

She leaned in closer to the girl, leaned away, then forward again. It was definitely the girl giving her such crazy feelings. "You make me want to dance or do something crazy!" The girl's normally mellow voice kept rising in volume. She finally cut loose and spun around with her arms spread wide. The waitress seemed embarrassed as she brought the tab. Dié smiled brightly at the woman and continued to dance. She knew that she was making a scene, but she really didn't care; for the first time in eight years she felt whole just by being near some one!

She grabbed Dice's hands and tugged, laughing joyously, "Come on! Dance with me! They were probably going to be asked to leave because of the racket she was making, but at this moment, it didn't matter. It didn't matter who saw, or why they were brought together. She kicked off her shoes and started to dance barefoot in place while waiting for the girl to make up her mind whether to join her or not.

I took my cell back.

"Sorry it just felt good to laugh." I nodded my head I eyed Dié oddly as she leaned in out, in, out, in out, and on. I giggled again wondered at the odd energetic feeling. I shivered.

"Thanks...Maybe if I don't fine a place today Ill crash at your place, that is if you still don't mind."

I forced myself to keep from smiling or laughing at the memory of her face when she offered. She's the one with the hentai thoughts.
I was startled as Dié stood up and started dancing. I smiled and watched her. She seemed so happy, carefree. Like all was well. I felt the same way. Full of energy and dieing to burn some off. I nodded happily as she asked me to join her and I stood as well and moved away from the table so neither of us would bump into it. I avoided Dié's shoes too, preferring to keep mine on. With so many dance classes one learned what moves they can and cant do in heels. I grinned slowly and it grew and grew. The widest I can remember in a long time. My teeth were white, but when I smiled I only showed my top teeth, never my bottom row not even a tip.

She grinned, swearing it stretched from ear to ear. It was the best feeling in the world to simply dance and not care about anything else. She laughed as she danced, tossing her head back and closing her eyes to enjoy the sensations more. This felt so right, like she'd been missing a piece, and now here it was placed in - a perfect match!

The waitress stammered about the rules, and Dié paused long enough to kick her shoes out of the way. The poor woman called for the manager to help her. The disturbance had simply gone on too long for her peace of mind. The manager came out and started to talk calmly to them, but Dié was having none of it. "Dance with us!" The woman sputtered and started raising her voice.

She giggled and moved closer to Dice, "I think it's time to leave. I don't want her to have a stroke." Her voice barely contained her laughter, and her eyes shone darkly with her mirth. She scooped up her shoes and bag. She tossed down some money and boogied her way to the door, laughing all the while.

I laughed at Dié's antics. It was just too good to dance, to be with someone else and not be 'reserved' or cautious. I laughed as the manager tried to get Dié to calm down, but even I the level headed one wouldn't back down. Not while I felt so happy, so alive! I laughed with her. She looked good smiling, then again don't most people? I nodded my head too Dié dancing my way out of the cafe and into the street. If I didn't have such a bad singing voice, and could carry a tune I would have been singing something to do with dancing down the streets. But as it was I didn't want to ruin my good mood by becoming frustrated about the way I sounded so I happily danced a few steps. Before linking arms with Dié and skipping down the sidewalk laughing.

She sang as she hooked arms with Dice. This was probably the best day of her life! She bubbled over with joy and skipped down the sidewalk with her companion. It seemed they had no general direction for the time. It was relaxing to be so carefree! Dié sang to her heart's content, unmindful of those around the two of them.
