This chick was a real piece of work, pushing and grabbing him like that. Did personal space mean nothing to her?! Not that he would have particularly minded being so close to a girl as hot as she was, but the way she was trying to man handle him was a real turn off. She was lucky she was a girl otherwise he might’ve been forced to get physical back. But he was no woman beater. That was probably the only thing he learned from his dad, and it hadn’t even been intentional. Dmitry just decided that he wanted to be nothing like his father, which meant no excessive drinking and no hitting women. No matter how much of a pain in the ass they were. Of course if an enemy Sacrifice was a girl that didn’t mean he held back, he had to draw the line somewhere otherwise he’d get his ass kicked all the time. And his pride couldn’t handle something like that.

As much as it pained him he stayed silent and didn’t let out a string of profanities after she berated him like he was a two year old. After all he didn’t want her to start up another screaming rant again, one was enough and she didn’t seem like the type to stay quiet after someone sent a string of colorful curses her way. But one little word couldn’t help but slip past his lips after her little comment about making him break his own bones in a deathly quiet whisper, “Bitch.”

His eyes narrowed at her as he followed her command, but a lazy smirk brightened up his face as she agreed to getting him something to eat. Slipping into the passenger seat he nosily glanced around the inside of her jeep, looking for something girly like a Brittany Spears or Spice Girl’s CD that he could tease her about. He purposely took his time answering her, while it had been an order to tell her what he wanted to eat, his little Sacrifice had failed to mention when he was supposed to reply to her. Thank god for little loop holes like that. Extending his legs as far forward as the jeep would allow he leaned back in the seat, it was comfortable he’d give her that. “I guess I want steak.” He slowly spoke carefully watching for her reaction. So what if he had expensive tastes, it wasn’t as if he ever actually had to pay for it himself.

"You're not getting steak." was all she replied. While he was taking his sweet, precious time answering her, she had jammed the key in the ignition and turned the car on. She had gotten her seatbelt on. She had put the car in gear and she had growled quietly at him for taking so long. Was he searching for loopholes, then? Alright. She wouldn't give him any anymore. Prick. She carefully pealed out of the parking space and turned the corner out of the lot at a speed just fast enough to slide him across the seat and almost out of the open doorway. Cali smirked, watching him. She knew the perfect angles and speeds to kill someone, to warn someone in a scary way that they needed their seatbelt, to roll her own baby, to swerve to avoid people, animals, and other miscellaneous objects, etcetera. "Get your seatbelt on, Demy, or you'll end up roadkill." She turned her attention back to the road.

He had told her what he wanted to eat, but what did she feel like? Ultimately, they would go where she wanted, and if he didn't like it, he could either get over it, leave, or throw another tantrum and she'd react even more violently. She'd leave that decision to him.

Cali didn't like the silence. She was used to music in her car. And just because this immature man was beside her wasn't going to stop her from listening to her music. She pressed the cd button and waited for the music to start playing. It didn't take long. Uprising was the first song, but she skipped it, settling instead for Resistance. What a funny song for this moment, all things (like her sheer asshole of a fighter) considered. Well, funny title, at least. The song really had nothing to do with their situation.

Calidane wanted a sandwich. Delis. Subway? Yes. Cali wanted Subway. And she knew where one was, fairly close to where they were at the moment. "Let's get Subway." She announced to Demy, turning another corner straight into a red light. The roads here were crazy.

Well that wasn’t fair. First she asks what he wants and then she says he can’t have it. Just like the nuns at the orphanage. Uppity bitches. It wasn’t as if what he wanted was that outrages. Most girls would love to go out to a nice restaurant, especially with someone as good looking as he was. It was a privilege really. But no. Just because she was the Sacrifice she thought she got to make all the decisions. Didn’t she just say she wasn’t going to abuse her powers? Liar. He knew she would just be all talk. People were like that. They preach about being all high and mighty and condemn others blah blah blah. It was all just a bunch of hypocritical bullshit.

“Hey! Watch it!” He snapped at her when she slung him nearly out of the car. What was she trying to do, kill him? Oh that would just be perfect. Killed by his own freaking loud mouth smartass Sacrifice. Mumbling Russian profanities under his breath he angrily complied and put on his seat beat. With her driving skills, he was definitely going to need it on.

Well at least she had good taste in music. He’d found no traces of any girly pop music so far, and she even put on a good song. It was by Muse if he remembered correctly, off their new album. This song wasn’t one of his favorites on the album, but he knew it well enough to tap his fingers along with the beat. Though the movement wasn’t just for the sake of keeping rhythm with the song but more just for the sake of, well, moving. Riding in cars sucked. Most of the time you were cramped and couldn’t do much. All in all it was very boring. Walking was more fun, especially since there were so many people you could mess with on the sidewalks.

“Subway?” He questioned incredulously. What the hell was Subway? Wait wasn’t it an underground transport thing? No, he thought, it’s a sandwich shop I think. Either way it didn’t sound like a fun place to eat. I mean if he wanted a sandwich he would always make one at home. Expect he didn’t want a sandwich. He wanted steak, or fish. Something overly expensive that tasted like heaven. But no. They were going to some cheap old place where you paid people to put stuff on bread. Geez, he hadn’t expected his Sacrifice to be such a tightwad. And after all it wasn’t as if money was an issue. Surely she knew that he could merely use a spell to get them a free meal no matter the cost. “I don’t like Subway.” Well that wasn’t exactly true, he’d never eaten there before so he couldn’t say that he didn’t like the food. But he did hate the idea of eating there, especially since Cali was the one who suggested it.
